The Jedi Temple

The Jedi Temple on Coruscant was the symbol of justice and good in the Old Republic, until the clever maneuvering of Darth Sideous brought about its destruction. Its ruins have since been rebuilt, and serve as the center of the Jedi Order once again. There are now multiple Jedi Councils - one for each of the major temples in the galaxy; the one in Coruscant is the most observable and least secretive of them.
