No New Posts The Jedi Temple

The Jedi Temple on Coruscant was the symbol of justice and good in the Old Republic, until the clever maneuvering of Darth Sideous brought about its destruction. Its ruins have since been rebuilt, and serve as the center of the Jedi Order once again. There are now multiple Jedi Councils - one for each of the major temples in the galaxy; the one in Coruscant is the most observable and least secretive of them.

Coruscant
Home to the Jedi Temple in the days of the Old Republic and once the seat of the Empire's power, Coruscant has long been a system of great political and military importance. Its surface appears to shimmer with lights; the planet is lit artificially by orbital mirrors that only enhance the glow of activity of ship and speeder traffic down below. Coruscant is almost entirely urbanized, and its wildlife have struggled to survive as a result of the endless jungle of remarkably tall buildings. Coruscant is currently under the control of the New Republic and the new Senate, and is once again the home of the Jedi Order, which resides in the halls of the rebuilt temple.
