Two humans walked among the crowd on the streets of the captiol Coruscant. Both were dressed in senator robes and both had just left their senate meeting. "Look Quoll you have to see it from their side" said a tall and gangly human he had short greasy black hair and green eyes.
The other human scoffed he had long flaming red hair slicked back, freckles covered his face, and had green eyes. "You mean the corrupt and lazy view" Quoll replied sarcastically.
The other human shook his head, "no they simply see your proposal as a unnecessary spending of both rescources and men. We dont need deaths on a matter that will simply resolve it self. It is a cycle you know this, you have studied the history of the galaxy" commented the senator.
Quoll sighed "I know the past Dirian, but i just feel that this time it is diffrent, we can sacrifice a few lives now to save millions of lives later" replied Quoll.
"They told you that if you brought proper proof of your theory that they would repopen your bill" reminded Dirian.
"By then I fear it will be to late" replied Quoll as the two stood outside one of the more grungier bars on the captiol planet.
"An odd place to meet jedi if you ask me" commented a suspicious Dirian. Quoll smiled and shook his head. "That is why it is the perfect place" he replied walking into the bar, Dirian right beside him.
The bar was almost completely deserted, there were two twileks by the bar and then two humans sitting at one of the cleaner booths. The two humans immeidatly stood up seeing the senators walking in, both humans were dressed in the jedi robes. One of the humans was old, his face was aging and was covered by many wrinkles. His hair was thinning and what was left of it was an unflattering gray he also had green eyes. The other however looked to be in his early thirties; his hair was a dark brown and his eyes to were brown, as well as a brown beard.
"Senator Quoll of Denon, Senator Dirian of Onderon. We are glad you both came" said the elderly jedi in a gruffy voice. Senator Quoll and Dirian both bowed their heads taking seats opposite from the jedis.
"The latest holovids show that your bill has recently been voted down senator Quoll" commented the aging jedi. The other jedi gave him a stern look, but did not comment on his words instead he turned his attention to the two senators.
"Please you must excuse Master Danik Kargin, he seems to always choose the brashest of introductions" apologized the other jedi. Danik turned to him and simply shook his head before going back to his drink.
"That is quite alright; no matter how brash his words might be, he does indeed speak the truth. And this growing threat in the outer rims continues to go uncheck" replied Quoll.
"Bantha Fodder! The senators and the jedi both see that the sith will turn on each other. All we have to do is pick up the pieces once the fighting is done" commented Danik. The other jedi shook his head.
"I told you Danik these sith are diffrent! They have a new philosophy. They follow new principles, their leader is gathering strength preparing to strike!" siad the jedi.
"Oh Lennox I think you have been breathing to much space air, you travel the outer rim for a few years. And you come back preaching the end of the republic as we know it! The sith will turn on each other and kill each other. They are savaged beasts and they have been doing this for many millenias! And they will continue to do it for many millenias!" said Danik annoyed.
"The Sith have conquered more then two dozen worlds, since Ayin killed Siphon. Does that sound like a depleting army. They are expanding and growing rapidly. We must send in our fleets and engage them on our terms and not theirs!" said Lennox surprisingly calm.
"If we send our fleets in were just get caught in another sith civil war! They are a soceity who only know destruction, greed, and have a lust for power. They just fought a war with the Robot army. Does that sound like an army thats biding its time?" asked Danik turning to the two senators who had kept out of this jedi argument, both turned away from Danik hoping not to be dragged in. Danik though seemed not to notice this, he leaned in close to Quoll.
"Scouts say that the sith and SRA are on the path of full scale war with one another. We hope they do, their will go the two last minuscule threats to our republic and to our peace" muttered Danik with a grin.
"You have seen the sith?" interupted an anxious Quoll who was eager to hear Lennox's encounters with the sith. Lennox simply nodded. "Glimpses of them, I have never seen their leader but i have heard tales of him. The Sith admire him, they see him as the one who will lead them on a successful crusade against us" replied Lennox.
"Dont listen to him, hes just itching for another war like Ayin is. You'll bring nothing but trouble and false chaos to a people who need stability and peace. Now if you excuse me talking about sith usually gives me a headache, I need a nap" said the orniary jedi master standing up and stretching. He took a few steps to the door before turning back. "You coming Lennox?" he asked.
