Sitting in an extravagant hall, where local art decorated the walls, the queen of Naboo was sharing drinks with the sith warlord; Tiberian Coale. The encounter with him was nothing that the queen had expected, she had been waited on hand and foot, the minute she had walked into Palace. The queen had heard stories of the sith growing up and never thought that this was how these barbaric people entertained their enemies. However the queen would not be fooled by Tiberian’s ruse and was determined to see who this leader of the sith truly was.
Sitting around an oval table at one end sat the queen of Naboo on her left was the governor as well as two of her handmaidens, two others were sitting on her right. Looking across the table to see the engaging sith warlord sitting alone and enjoying his Corellian cider.
“Now Lord Coale, I know that you did not have your sith console invade our planet and imprison me so that you could bring me here to your lovely home to swap stories and share cider? I am not that naïve lord Coale and I asked that you do not treat me like a fool” said a bold queen.
Her bold statement rippled through the lovely mood that had presided around the table since their arrival. The governor looked very nervous putting his hands on his laps as they had begun shaking since the queen’s little speech, he turned to the queen. Seeing a strong but sensitive demeanor it was not guess that she had deserved the role of queen for being able to be both sweet and strong. The governor then turned to the sith warlord and was astonished to see that the sith warlord was actually smiling, and this sight did not seem to comfort him. The governor had long heard stories of sith brutality and just to see him sitting still with a smile made the governor more nervous then any outburst of anger that the sith could have made.
“Brash your majesty, I am sorry if offended you but I believe you have sadly been given the wrong perception of my people. This is no act, this is who I am, this is who my people are now. You see we have changed, our only dreams now are to cast down the corrupt jedi that have plagued our galaxies for millenias, and bring a fair balance to not just politics but to life. You see that is why I had my console bring you to me, so that you would stop living off the lies of my people and that you would truly see our evolution. Naboo has long been respected in the world of politics and to have such a powerful ally such as yourself in my corner. I must say there would be no greater honor; all you must do is sign over your planet under the imperial assembly of Sovereign Sith. You will be able to go home and rule your people; you just must be permissible of having armies stationed on your planet. Not to occupy but just to re-fuel until coming to the core-worlds, so your majesty do we have a deal?” finished Tiberian.
The queen was somewhat dumbfounded by the short speech that the sith lord had just given her and she began to wonder if maybe she had judged him and his people by past prejudices. The queen turned to the governor who looked equally stunned but he slowly nodded and the queen smiled bowing her head to the sith warlord. “We would be honored to join you, I only hope you will be able to forgive my past judgments” she said.
Tiberian waved his hand, “think nothing of it” he said standing up, “I ask you to stay as my guests for the Coronet coronation, and after I will have you escorted back to your beautiful home” offered Tiberian.
“We would be honored” replied the queen.
Tiberian clapped his hands together seemingly thrilled by the news, “good now i will have someone show you, where you will be staying” said Tiberian leading the Naboo nobles away from his dining hall.
