Go Revan, Revan is the greatest because of the way he conquered the republic. To prepare them against a more dangerous enemy, sheer Brilliance! A Hannibal of the star wars time or maybe a Caesar. Hail the sith empire!!

I totally agree, Revan could have destroyed the republic completely and yet he chose to disappear probably because he found the yuzhan vong. Unfortunately my firefox is a complete piece of crap (Internet Explorer is worse) and won't let me vote, otherwise I'd have voted for Revan already.

Vader kills his own wife and betrays his best friends to become the most powerful in the universe.
And also blocks Han Solo's lasers with his palm.
'Nuff said.

While I agree that Revan is indeed awesome, he is not made of pure evil it appears. Then again Vader wasn't either as he turned good at the end (psssht), but he had his own freaking battallion with his name on it: the 501st, Vader's Fist, which he used to conquer many a system and oppress the weak.
He slaughtered the Jedi Temple and killed YOUNGLINGS. Also, throwing Palpatine (the most conniving and successful sith ever) to his doom, while being shocked by awesome force lightning, and also crushing his own Imperial Officer's throat to mush for failing at Hoth makes Vader even more awesome.
Plus, he makes for one of the greatest villains in movie history, for speaking in that altered, calm voice and having shiny black armor and a CAPE. Did Revan wear a cape? If not this discussion is OVER. (capes automatically give + 30 coolness)

Brian's arguements look better, but I found some evidence to help Vader... It's looks like he took over the 3rd Reich... He also can play as himself on BF2...

What crap is this, Brian's arguments look better? As if I need help supporting my side! As I said, kills his own wife to get powerful and blocks Han Solo's blaster bolt. I think once I brought up Han Solo the debate officially fell into my lap thank you very much!

Ok when I say Vader I mean excluding the crappy Anakin rendition in the films. The essence of his character still remains the most awesomely supreme evil of all. Revan has an unfair advantage in that he isn't in a movie. He can't be plagued by Hayden Christensen or somebody like him. So if we all just forget about the whiny pretty boy and remember Vader crushing the life out of rebel scum, I think we will all see more eye to eye.

Yea so what if Vader had his own battalion, Reven had his own superior robot army with the Star Forge. Reven, instead of killing off the Jedi, made them join him and his Army. And he lost touch with the force and retrieved it again. And most of all he single handedly won the mandelorian war with his strategy and power!

Bah, robots. Look how far they got the CIS. And I really don't understand the "losing touch with the Force," midichlorians make up your freaking body, it makes no sense.

Revan never lost touch with the force, that's what happened to the exile.

yes but he did lose his memory, so i guess he forgot how to use the force. As for the CIS they were a bunch of R.O.B.'s or as Joe would say, "inferior robots."
