Invasion of Corellia

It was a calm and peaceful day on the planet Corellia. The sky was clear and everyone was going about their work as usual. Suddenly this was all changed as numerous war ships began coming out of hyperspace and surrounding the planet. The Corellian defence command center instantly became concerned.
"General, an entire fleet just appeared and is blockading our planet!" Shouted one of the officers to the leading general. The General ran over and looked at the computer screen himeslf.
"That's strange..." He commented. "I don't recognize those ships. The scanners aren't even reporting any major signs of life on any of them."

Just then, they recieved a transmission on the hologram communication display. The Corellian general now turned his attention to the hologram of SR 110.
"Attention Corellian, I am SR 110, leader of the Superior Robot Army. Are you a leader of importance on this planet?" SR 110 asked.

"Yes, I am the leader of the military forces here." The general replied.

"Excellent, now I suggest that you surrender this planet over to the control of the robots." SR 110 said calmly.

"What? Are you crazy? This planet belongs to the Republic!" Screamed the general.

"Not for long." SR 110 commented before breaking off the communications. "You may begin the attack!" He then ordered the general of the robot ground forces.

Hanger bay doors opened on the transport ships from the fleet, and thousands of SRA landing craft started descending to the planet below. As they stopped on the surface, they opened up and the battle robots exited. Corellian soldiers tried to destroy the landing robots, but they would getdisintegrated often before they even had a chance to shoot. Red and yellow burst of energy streamed from the masses of robots that now covered the land. Corellian military fortifications didn't stand much of a chance either. Once discovered, they would be turned to smoldering craters by particle beams from the orbiting ships.

It wasn't long before the Corellian general realized they weren't doing too well. He ordered all of his forces to make their way to the center of the capital ctiy. There he hoped they would be able to hold the robots off long enough for the Republic reinforcements to arrive.

Craygen paced the bridge of his sith captiol ship waiting anxiously for the word of his master to begin the Sith invasion of Corellia. The Hologram image of Console Vala Baan flickered in front of Craygen.

"Console Ardor, lord Coale has given the word to begin the invasion of Corellia" reported Vala.

A smile flashed upon the face of Craygen, "good I thank you Commander Baan" he said politely.

"I was also told to remind you of the battle strategy, that this war is not with the civilians" she replied sternly.

Crayegn forced himself to continue to carry his polite smile, "assure Tiberian that I will do what he asks" he said.

Vala slowly nodded looking somewhat annoyed at Craygen, "very well we shall rejoin at Corellia" she said.

"Looking forward to it" lied Craygen watching Vala's holgram vanish, Craygen rolled his eyes lookign furious.

'How dare she tell me how to fight! She is not even a true Sith! Only a sith by title, I dont nor will I take orders from that vile woman' he vented to himself.

But no matter how angry Craygen was with Console Baab it could not dwarf his happiness with her message, he turned to his pilot and briefly annouced, "it is time" and the pilot simply nodded as Craygen' ship jumped into hyperspace followed by the rest of the sith fleet.

Jumping out of hyperspace, the sith fleet stared out to see an epic space battle between the SRA and the Republic space fleet of Denon that had recently arrived.

"Begin attack formations" ordered a voice that came over the loudspeakers it was Commander Baan. Four of the Sith Capitol ships that had invaded Coruscant had just arrived. The Sith Fleet soon formed their attack formations and launched their attack upon the Republic forces.

Craygen was overjoy he had been waiting for this day for almsot two years. He longed look forward to the day when he would assist in the destruction of the Republic. He had felt like a Krayt Dragon trapped in a suffocating cage but now his cage was opened and he was able to unleash his fury upon all that stood in his way.

A Republic star cruiser blew up sending shrapnel and bodies into outer space. Vala's Sith capitol ship 'Pompai' sliced through the asteroid field of debris caused by their very own turrets and cannons pursuing several republic ships that had broken formation and tried desperatly to land on Corellia. To try to relieve the Corellia militia which has been under heavy fire and had to seek shelter into the cities from heavy SRA bombarment.

It seemed only inevitable that the people of Corellia would surrender to the forces of SRA and Vala and the sith would no prolong this surrender with fresh forces.

"We have a target" cried a pilot.

"Fire" ordered Vala watching from the bridge of Pompai, which took fire upon a smaller republic frigate. Pompai's turrets tore through the shields of the frigate and it exploded soon after.

Vala's Sith fleet and the SRA fleet had surrounded the remaining republic fleet and began heavy bombardment upon the weakening fleet. The republic fleet would not go silently as they fired back from the heavy turrets and heavy artillery cannons.

All three sides were taking heavy casualties, numerous ships were exploding, one sith capitol ship exploded sending shockwaves towards several sith and SRA ships causing them to explode creating a gaping hole within the Sith and SRA formation.

Seeing this the remaining republic fleets took advantage and began descending towards Corellia, preparing to land. The Pompai led the other sith and SRA ships towards the surface of Corellia on the heels of the republic.

The battle of Corellia was coming to an end, the final scene would drift away from the epic space battle and the backdrop would become the plains and cities of Corellia.

"Commander Baan, they seem to be heading towards the Coronet space port" reported the pilot.

Vala sighed she was determined to have the surrender of Corellia before Tiberian's rendouz vous back with his army. "Very well, land the ships around the city, I want knights and troopers ready for deployment!" ordered Vala to a handful of officers, who saluted the sith console and quickly left the bridge to fulill their commander's armies.

"SRA scouts report to have captured Kor Vella but the cities in the mountains have yet to submit to the SRA armies" reported a holgram of a sith officer that had appeared in front of Vala.

"Send Craygen and Sparky to those cities, and please monitor him, Tiberian has strict orders and policies for all people who surrender to us" replied Vala, the officer bowed his head and his holgram vanished.

"Contact SR110" ordered Vala turning to one of her technicians, who immediatly typed on the key pad for several seconds, "got a signal, Commander Baan" she reported.

A hologram of the leader of the SRA armies, and the one to have launched the attack on Corellia, SR110 appeared in front of Vala.

"Yes what is it commander Baan?" he asked.

"What is the report on Coronet?" she asked.

"Our sensers pick up several turrets and cannons on their higest towers, they have put up shields as well. I think they are preparing for the long haul" reported SR110.

Vala was afraid of this, she had spent her early years on Corellia and she knew that Coronet was a well fortified city and that opposing forces would have trouble capturing the city even if they had caught the planet off-guard.

"Deploy your armies, we must find away into the city, this battle must come to an end soon. Before the Republic can rally more forces" responded Vala.

SR110 nodded, "my thoughts exactly Commander Baan, I look forward to your suggestions, once we have landed" replied SR110, his hologram then faded.

Vala looked out the window of her bridge to see that Pompai was close to landing, and she could see the thriving city of Coronet in the distant and SR110 seemed to be right. The city was ready to take the SRA and Sith's best punch. Vala knew that this would be one of the most pivotal battles in the entire war and that if they failed to capture Corellia now, that they would never get another shot and Vala would not fail Tiberian.

Capturing Corellia, was a feat that armies against the Republic could ever dream of. With Corellia under the Sith thumb, they would have the many rescources that the planet offered, they had some of the best ship yards in the galaxy. And with Corellia, the sith would be able to launch several more attacks upon the heart of the Republic and her coreworlds including their capitol Coruscant and Denon.

Vala was hesitant to call upon Tiberian, she knew that he would be disappointed that she was un able to capture the planet. And now with news of a new fleet coming towards them, only added to the pressure that was beginning to mount on this inexperienced Sith army.

Hanging up with the sith war lord, Vala turned her attention and her frustrations towards the officers that stood like statues in front of her. Hands to their sides, heads up, faces looking stressed. "Well did you hear? Tiberian is on his way, so why are you all just standing here? Get the armies ready, his mercy will be tested because of his officers incompetence, being un able to capture the planet, get on the charts, i want the latest reports on that republic fleet!" ordered Vala. Watching the sith officers stumbling in all different directions, to fulfill Vala's orders.

Tiberian sat calmly and comfortably in his shuttle. The sith warlord seemed relaxed all things consider, some would say that Tiberian bit off more then he can chew. In their first battle, his army was struggling un able to capture a surprised Corellia. Who is missing most of her fleet. Tiberian though did not see it like this, he saw this as a chance to test his new ideals as well as his people. Tiberian was not concerned about the republic army, he knew that Corellia would fall to him shortly, this batttle would only strengthen Tiberian and his men.

Tiberian's thoughts were soon interrupted, "were landing sir" cried the pilot.

"His shuttle is landing!" shrieked one officer as several sith officers surrounded the ground where Tiberian's shuttle was to land. Waiting the most anxiously was Vala, her hands trembling at her sides, watching Tiberian's shuttle touchdown. Sr-110 and several of his commanding droids waited calmly behind Vala.

The doors of the shuttle slowly opened and all round saluted. The shadow of the sith warlord was first to be seen by his officers, and he soon followed. Tiberian walked down the steps seeing and feeling the fear in his officers, Tiberian could see several officers trembling while saluting as Tiberian passed. Tiberian stopped in the middle of his ranks, "please men, you all have done well and am proud to call you Sith. I will handle the rest, back to your positions" announced a calm sith warlord.

Tiberian could hear the sighs of relief and the gasps of breath coming from his officers, seeing them smiling instead of sweating and watched as they head back to their posts. However Vala and Sr-110 did not move and seemed to be waiting for the sith warlord to approach them and he did.

"My lord please forgive me" pleaded Vala seeing the intimidating presence of her master.

Tiberian wagged his hand, "you have done very well Vala, I am pleased to see how far you and Sr-110 were able to get. Now please, continue to monitor the republic fleets" dismissed Tiberian comfortably.

"Thank you lord" said a relieved Vala.

Tiberian flashed her a small smile seeing her slowly walk away in which Tiberian turned his attention to SR-110 and his commanding robots.

"Good to see that you survived Coruscant Tiberian" commented SR-110.

Tiberian chuckled and nodded, "yes, tell me what are we looking at?" asked Tiberian more seriously.

"A lot of me, a lot of turrets and cannons, powerful shields. They have plenty of rations, they are hoping that they can hold on until the fleets come" replied SR-110.

Tiberian turned his attention to the capitol of Corellia while Sr-110 told him this, he seemed to be examining the city.

"Sheilds you say?" asked Tiberian.

"Yes they cover the entire city, our cannons cannot pierce them, and we tried to rally soldiers but their cannons obliterated our men" replied SR-110.

"Wait here, Coronet and Corellia will be ours" said Tiberian quite confidently.

Tiberian walked past SR-110 and his droids and began his walk towards Corellia. Surprising Sr-110 and his droids who were chattering to one another watching the sith warlord casually approach the heavily fortified city of Corellia. Soon all of the soldiers and droids watched in awe their leader, commander, approach the city. Men were murmuring to one another not able to comprehend what their leader was doing. None of them seemed to have grasped the power the Tiberian had, not even one of his consoles. Vala watched seemingly amazed, and somewhat concerned of what her leader was doing and what crazy plan had he thought up this time.

Tiberian walked calmly and quietly towards the metropolis of Coronet. He could see the shimmering shields shelled around the city but this sight did not bother Tiberian. Getting closer to the city Tiberian could see the soldiers and as well as the cannons and turrets now pointing at him, he could see the soldiers confused faces as they watched bewildered, Tiberian draw closer to their city.

"Who do you think he is?" asked one panic stricken officer upon one of the high walls of Coronet. All of the officers and soldier's attention was fixed on the approaching sith warlord.

"I got a bad feeling about this" commented another soldier standing idly by.

"Snap out of it men! He is just one man, officers fire the cannons!" ordered the general seemingly unimpressed by the sith warlord.

The sounds of artillery echoed through the fields outside Coronet, Tiberian looked up to see several shells had been fired towards him. Tiberian stopped, looking up watching the shells descend towards him, he waved his hand. To watch two of the shells to explode in the air, while the other two froze in the sky before falling to the ground in front of the sith warlord forming a giant crater at his feet. Tiberian smiled looking over his work and putting his hands back inside his robes and continued towards Coronet.

The soldiers and officers at Coronet had to pick up their jaws. None of them had ever expected to see what Tiberian had just done towards their shells and now were stumbling waiting for their commanders next orders.

The general found it difficult to find his voice, he was sure that his cannons would obliterate this threat but when his thinking prooved to be faulty it seemed that the general was unable to give another order. All of Coronet watched now in awe Tiberian Coale come towards them, most were scared but many more were curious to see who this stranger really was.

"Do not worry, no man can pass those shields with out the passcodes" said one officer seeing Tiberian approach the city gates.

Tiberian stopped a few feet from the main gates of Coronet, he looked up to see that dozens of soldiers lined the gates inside the city. Tiberian assumed that his arrival simply fluxuated the number of men, Tiberian stared at the shields of the capitol. He was somewhat disappointed by the shields, he was expecting more from t he people of Corellia. Tiberian thought that it would take him at least ten or fifteen minutes before coming up on the gates; but it only actually took him a few mintues to discover the weekness of the shields.

Tiberian approached the gates, confusing the soldiers who stood at the threshold ready to shoot at Tiberian if he were to ever enter the city. Tiberian lazily raised his palm and watched as the gates shields flickered trying to survive from the dark energy of Tiberian but after a short struggle the shields drowned in the darkness fading away all together.

Both amazed and stunned by the dissappearence of the shields, the Corellia soldiers stationed all around the main gate opened fire on Tiberian before he could get his feet inside the city. Tiberian was engulfed by the barade of bullets that were orchestrated towards him and after several minutes the soldiers of Corellia stopped.

Trading smiles and hand shakes, they thought they had done what no one else could accomplish. They thought that they had killed the sith warlord and with what a few rounds of bullets from their cheap republic guns, oh no this cannot kill a sith warlord but sadly these soldiers could not see that so Tiberian had to educate them.

The guns began shaking, they seemed to be trying their best to pull away from the soldier's grasp, leaping out of their clutches into freedom. The guns flied over the walls of Coronet and into the fields that seperated them from the sith and sra armies. After a few minutes all of the soldiers surrounding Tiberian were un armed, a majority of their army had been positioned and stationed around the main gates.

The clouds of dust around Tiberian settled to show a triumphant sith warlord with his hands in the air, mockingly surrendering to the un armed soldiers of Corellia. Many soldiers a mere minutes ago approahced what they thought to be a dead sith, but now were frozen a mere feet away from the sith, defenseless.

Tiberian was smiling looking at the expressions of the Corellia soldiers and officers all around him, "have no fear, people of Coronet. I do not come to enslave your familes and force them to work in the coloies on the fringes of space, to fuel my war machine. No, you see that is not why my armies came here" said Tiberian calmly and powerfully, his voice echoeing through the streets, as civilians left their homes to see and to hear what Tiberian had to say.

"My armies as well as the armies of M4-78 have longed respect the people of Corellia and their military prowess. The people of Corellia area proud and independent people, such as my sith followers, but like my sith followers. You have been forced to live in the shadows of Coruscant and now the up and coming Denon. Seeing the people and the Galatic Republic take advantage of you, only caring for your wealth and your finaces and when you are no longer an asset to the republic. They will simply cut all bonds from you" began Tiberian.

He could see the conversing between the soldiers, the bobbled heads from the citizens, he knew that he was speaking the truth to these people. He now realized that the planet was within his grasp.

"But no more shall the great people of Corellia suffer from the arrogance of the Republic. I implore you, all of you to renounce your seat in the republic and to align yourselves with my new empire, where at her heart will be this very planet, these very cities. Corellia shall be the new gem of the Sith, as well as our new capitol, together we can help forge a new history. Of a united, strong, determined people who will not be pushed around by a few greedy politicans in Coruscant. Because like Corellia, the sith are here to stay, we have come to liberate the galaxy from the Jedi and the republic, so Corellia will you join my noble cause?" asked Tiberian.

At the finale of his speech, cheers and applaused echoed through the streets of Cornet, chants of sith and freedom rang through the city. Tiberian smiled waving to the soldiers and to the people, it had finally happend, Corellia belonged to Tiberian.
